Day 1 in Auckland

Some pix of day 1 in Auckland. Wherever there's a coffee shop with free Wi-Fi there's Colin and his tablet. At the moment the Coffee Bean &Tea Leaf in Singapore is winning in the coffee stakes, but Rushworth's on the quayside in Auckland has a better signal.

The harbour here is worth a look. The Kiwis obviously love their sailing and there are millions of $ worth of boats alongside.

They make a good backdrop for the skyline of downtown Auckland.

Thanks for the tip Andy, the Auckland fish market is the place to eat. We made short work of this Ocean platter (oh, and the Marlborough pinot gris won the wine contest).
