As planned we picked up our home for the next 4 weeks - a converted Ford Transit van that included shower and toilet. The problem of 'too much kit and not enough space' has taken 24 hours to sort to Colin's entire satisfaction - everything squared away and secured for 'sea'! Really all very cosy.
Continuing with the theme of eating and drinking our way round New Zealand today was the Marlborough Food and Wine Festival. It's a great wine producing area and such a pleasure to taste the local product at its source. Food included scallop pies and crayfish fritter sandwich washed down with Pinot Gris with the New Zealand Army Band playing and singing in the background.
What a great introduction to South Island!
Breakfast wouldn't be the same without a blog to read - it all sounds fabulous, particularly the seafood.
